COVID19 - Genuine Restart
It is year 2020 and many many years since my last post.
A lot of things have happened but we will cover those in another time.
But what we will cover today is the top of the town topic (TOTTT) in this decade - COVID-19. It is a significant event in our generations and will probably have a significant impact for the generations to come.
Before I dip into my crazy thoughts, I would like to call out that I am not spreading fear here. Rightly or wrongly, it is merely my own interpretation of the new world, a prediction that may or may not come true.
Instead of writing many hours of material here, I have opted for something easier to read. So this particular post will be written in bullet-point format.
As the world working on its restart - so is this blog. "Let Christian Know" is now back in 2020 and more posts will come.

Before I dip into my crazy thoughts, I would like to call out that I am not spreading fear here. Rightly or wrongly, it is merely my own interpretation of the new world, a prediction that may or may not come true.

- We haven't found a way to change back time, so we can only move forward. COVID-19 created such a disruption for many people, the impact is real. The loss of production, time, people and whatever it destroyed are sadly losses that are gone forever.
- Some say this is just another GFC but I see this as another event similar to The Great Depression with a twist. I think the twist itself will be caused by the differences between past and present & the following considerations are probably worthwhile to explore further.....Will we learn from our mistakes? What are the cultural differences? Could we unite ourselves as good as the last generations? Will our technology advancement save us from this? I can go on and on about this one............. but I will leave the answers to your imagination?!
- Huge world trade impact. How long can we survive without the world trade that we used to know. What adjustments will we need to make? Is shifting all productions back into our country be the solution? How will China prevent this from happening? Will China still be here in 3 years time or is there a chance that could be a new China?!
- Have you noticed there is an increase amount of civil unrest? Why is that? Why more and more people are standing up against the government? Will there be a world war 3?
- What impact has been made to mankind for prolonged period of lockdown? It is a scary thought that we might have to teach our kids to stay away from other human beings, or at the very least - 1.5m or 6 feets apart.
- A lot of the decisions were made recently to help fast-tracking things back to normal. What if going back to normal is no longer an option?! Does it mean we have wasted valuable time and resources just to delay the process of inevitable?!
- Apart from the mankind issues here, the world actually benefited from COVID-19. The air is less polluted. O-zone is repairing itself. Water is clearer than ever. It is a way our nature or our world to restart?
- With many questions in my head and a million versions of possible realities.... nothing is ever consistent and constant, except for one thing - our love ones. Regardless where the world ends up to be, they will remain our love ones for life.
