Knowing is an irony

Knowledge is a double edge sword. While possession of knowledge is sometimes helpful and often admirable, it can also lead to all sorts of problems under different scenarios.

Case 1: Boyfriend cheated, would you prefer to know the cold heart truth or not know at all and continue with your day to day life?!
I wonder if the partner will lead a happier life as he lives his remaining life not knowing what had happened??

Case 2: Taste of fortune. A person who was born poor and remains poor for his entire life, would he/she be more optimistic when experiencing a financial downfall and thus be happier compared to a wealthy one?

Case 3: A dying patient and there is only a day remaining of her life. Would she die peacefully without knowing death is on to her in 24 hours or otherwise rushing to do her unfinished business knowing that she will never be able to complete them all??

We ought to look for knowledge in our lifetime and somehow, someday some of that knowledge will haunt us for our remaining life.

Six Feet?

Two videos today....and I'm sure six feet means different thing to different person.  For most of the people, it's a measure for social distancing, about 1.8m by US' standard. Is this distance long enough to breakdown? or simply breaking a lot of more things.  For me, it would be a measure of burying deep. So many things in my life have since died (metaphorically speaking)...and I couldn't help myself but wonder if something broken can be resurrected. Even if it could be done, would the result be any different? One thing is certain for me - it is long enough to break the already broken me...

Premonitions

Do you believe in premonitions? Have you ever think of something going to happen and it did?!  My life has been surrounded by premonitions and honestly I don’t know why. I don’t get to see the whole picture usually but it gives me a glimpse of what’s going to happen. Weird right?! I have a strong feeling today once again, and I am feeling extremely uneasy. I won’t go into details on here but all I have to say it’s something that doesn’t have a good ending.  Hopefully one day I can look back and laugh about this one - but in the meantime, I just have to be prepared and hope that I have the ability to see this through.  To be cont’........
