Optimistic or Pessimistic
Recently, I survived my own financial crisis while the world is still dealing with it. I found myself become a calmer person in general while other getting nastier because of their unfortunate personal circumstances.
That leads me to think...
"Are we behaving how we want ourselves to be or merely projecting an image from our current events?"
Certainly, we can never predict what we will face next and hardly be able to avoid unfortunate happening. But when the unfortunate circumstance arrives our doorstep unexpectedly, how often can we still be able to act or behave the same way as before?
For optimistic people, the dreadful events probably have lesser effect on them, as they carry a nature of being hopeful. On the other hand, pessimistic people are most likely to become infected with the disease of being unfortunate and project the image of changed behavior to others.
I wonder if there is an antidote that can cure such infection or nothing can be done until the aftermath is over. For all the pessimistic people out there, if there is no antidote, are they simply do not and cannot lead their lives by themselve but only and purely by fate alone?

It couldn't have been worse, says a pessimistic person when faced with life's troubles.
It could have been, it surely could have been, says an optimistic one in response to that.
