When all she needs, When all she wants, And all she finds, When all she is, and ever was... "When I trap myself inside"

Have you ever.........?

Two songs for tonight....a bit of the elephant in the room topic but why not? Have you ever lost someone important in your life? For some of you who had experienced it, you'd realised that sort of things usually happen quite suddenly and not allowing much time to react. It's not like we have a instruction manual to guide what we should do next..... These songs actually are really deep and reflect those situations fairly accurately. I have been on both sides of the fence - all I can say is that neither side is easy. Sometimes all they need is just a little support. It's not like they haven't thought about other solutions and most of the times, they might have that thought for a really long time. Some said it is a selfish act and wonder why you end up getting that particular call/message. Well it's really simple - you are important. PS: The first video contains a fairly recent story and I am really thankful that this song have helped many through their darkest...

As I was playing some old songs, and this one came up... No one really knows the true meaning behind this song, it could be a relationship, family, friends or anything really. Whatever the meaning was, one thing is pretty clear - the pain itself. Especially for the line of " But nothing cures the hurt you, you bring on by yourself... " This resonates with me deeply. I have lost count of how many times I struggled with this. It is like a loop, continue replaying over and over again.  Similar to what the song suggested...I have one question - how do you cure this pain? If you don't believe you are deserved to be saved, then how do you even forgive yourself in the process?

Made Believe Racism

I’ve just come across this news and it went viral.  So I’ve decided to post my view here and let others be the judge.  As everyone suffered from this COVID19 issue, certainly some got bigger impacts than others.  Racism is a powerful thing and certainly has no place in this country. However, COVID19 brings out the worst of the people and we are seeing more and more news about it.  This guy’s garage door got vandalised 3 times in the past week or so. Not once but 3 times. The message is pretty clear and I don’t think I need to spend more time explaining what that means. This guy got my sympathy and the vandalism should stop - period. He has done nothing wrong to deserve this.  Then we have a “Stefanie” girl who posted this online. She certainly got her 3 mins of fame as this post went viral. My view is that those letters and meaning are open to interpretation.  If there is any element of doubt, then we should give the people ...

Different Perspectives

Do you recall a time that people said something about you and whatever they said was very different to how you see yourself?  I’ve always found this topic to be fascinating. There are various studies show that our self perceived image is often different to how others perceive us.  But why is that? And perhaps more importantly, who is right?  Could there be an element of self doubt, or simply being too hard on ourselves?  How could someone knows me better than myself? But at the same time, could it be possible that other people might have a better perspective to see who we truly are?!  Over the years of my life, I endured some darkest moments and lost my path a few times. There was countless time that I doubted myself to the point that I thought I was worthless. But the universe always have a funny way to fix things up and delivered various kind souls to me - especially when I needed them the most. They are like my guiding post when I’m lost and point me b...
