Destiny
Some believe that destiny is part of a grand design from the higher power and could not be changed / altered. On the other hand, others believe that they can control their own destiny and be able to steer towards their own direction. I, however believe in something that lies somewhere in between. I believe that one's destiny is pre -determined by one's characters, beliefs and other outside elements. For example, nobody can ever choose their parents, geographic birth location and available resources surrounding you. Those factors will affect us indirectly and become our core foundation in the progression of life. This foundation is then further developed and matured into who we are today, and that is how our destiny formed in the process. However, I do not think that destiny is totally set in stone.
